After the enormous success of the “Con Expo” in previous editions, this year, CEMS Bangladesh is launching its re-brand edition called “Build Bangladesh International Expo 2019” which is scheduled to be held from 17~19 OCTOBER 2019. This new brand edition of “Build Bangladesh International Expo 2019” will be a premium exhibition showcasing of the Construction Materials, Method, and Equipment. It will reveal to the country, the rapid developments in the industry as well as new technology components.

The neat layouts of the show provide many opportunities to the consumers of the housing to see the latest offerings in the market as well as to the business visitor to carry out networking in a highly enabled environment. The exhibition is therefore not only a networking ground but also a place to find business partners and strategic alliances for manufacturing, outsourcing, sub-contracting, design, and development as well as direct marketing. The name “Con Expo”, stands for Construction Materials, Method, Equipment, and Real Estate Exposition. For 23 years, this exposition has been providing a marketing platform with buyers and sellers, and also the Exposition will launch the public relation campaign as a part of our program which will give your company an added exposure, which by itself would have.

The value of the economic activities of the sector in Bangladesh is estimated at BDT 737.17 billion for FY18. Meanwhile, the latest labor force survey showed that some 3.43 million workers are now employed in this sector. The construction sector is one of the 15 major sectors that contribute to the GDP in Bangladesh. Due to the rapid population growth, an influx of people from rural areas, and a growing middle class, new buildings are continuously erected and the construction sector has consequently been booming. GDP From Construction in Bangladesh increased to 7359.50 BDT Million in 2018 from 6695.10 BDT Million in 2017. GDP From Construction in Bangladesh averaged 4732.10 BDT Million from 2006 until 2018, reaching an all-time high of 7359.50 BDT Million in 2018 and a record low of 2982.50 BDT Million in 2006.
